Hugoʼs coaching skills have contributed to gymnasts that went on to become State and Regional Gymnastics Champions. He has coached dancers, cheerleaders, actors, ice skaters, martial arts students, and other athletes, helping them to achieve recognition at National levels. Hugo Cherre is a motivator and promoter of the importance of a healthy lifestyle and believes families need to work together to create a lifestyle that incorporates the "habit of exercise." Hugoʼs philosophy is “to be an innovator in youth sports, using gymnastics to increase athletic excellence in all sports in a positive and clean atmosphere.”

All of our staff have undergone a series of interviews, background and extensive training prior to being hired and assigned to coach a class independently.
Nikky Cherre, a graduate from Canyon high school, is a dedicated and passionate gymnastics coach, getting all the training and education available to learn the science of the sport. Completing eight years of gymnastics, four in cheer, three in basketball, two in track and five years at Hugo’s coach Nikky is a versatile and diverse coach that at her young age is already competing at a State and Regional levels, also she attends and represent our gym nation wise as a owner in our USA Gymnastics National Congress. She stands as an example to not only her students, but as well as to her younger brother and kids. She demonstrates leadership and dedication when teaching and training our coaches to keep the same philosophy, goals and mission that her dad promotes. Cherre, hopes to inspire her students to always strive for their best.
Scott Stark, a former football player of 6 years and a graduate from Canyon High School. After Scott graduated he attended the University of Arizona. He practiced MMA for 10 years and has been coaching gymnastics and tumbling for 6 years. He enjoys coaching and being able to pass on his knowledge of the sport to the kids he teaches.
Dr. CHARLEEN GATELY, Phd.
Charleen received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from USC. She is able to combine her passion for gymnastics with her interest in physical therapy. Charleen competed as a level 10 gymnast at the regional level. She believes gymnastics is a great foundation for any sport and teaches great life lessons. When she's not at the gym, Charleen loves going to Disneyland and hiking.
Adam Kakiki has been employed at Hugo’s gymfitness for the past five years. His skills range from gymnastics instructor to tumbling coach. Outside of the gym he enjoys spending his time competitively riding motorcycles and has studied Tae-Kwon-Do for past three years. He finds great enjoyment in the work he does and the impact he has on his students.
ANTHONY (Tony) CRESSWELL
Anthony, also known as Tony, Cresswell has a 10 year gymnastics background. Most of those years have been spent being taught by Hugo. Tony has been coaching at hugo's for 7 years now starting at the age of 17 years old. He likes to push himself to reach new limits and that is why he also enjoys teaching parkour. He has been teaching parkour for 3 years here at hugo's and a year in Mexico. Aside from coaching gymnastics and parkour Tony competed in track and field at College of the Canyons in the pole vault and high jump. On his free time Tony likes to play football and basketball. His favorite teams are the New England Patriots and Oklahoma City Thunder. He loves working here at Hugo’s because everyone is very positive and energetic.
Devin is currently working on his degree in exercise Science at CSUN and planning on obtaining his Masters degree afterwards. Devin has a passion for Physical fitness and nutrition, he also enjoys sharing what he has learned with other. His passion for physical fitness has helped him teach his students here at Hugo's to learn the skills they need for the future.
